Everything you need to know about WBA Ski Club.
When & Where do we meet? When ski season begins, usually the 2nd week in December, we meet at Montage Mountain each Friday night. The ski club will have a table inside the lodge and the ski club advisors (Jacqueline Snow & Alicia Farver) will be there from 4:30pm until 6:30 pm. LOOK for the WBA Ski Club sign located at the table. Ski season runs from December 2024 thru March 2025.
How do I become a member? Students who participate in 3 or more Friday ski nights become a member of the WBA Ski Club. There will be a sign in sheet located at the club’s table. Be sure to sign in so we know you are there! The table is also a great place to meet up with your friends before you go out to hit the slopes! The ski advisors will be at the table from 4:30pm until 6:30 pm.
*Permission slips MUST be filled out prior to the first night of skiing. This slip is only filled out on your child’s first night of skiing with the club. Permission slips will be located at the WBA table in the lodge. Jacqueline & Alicia will be there to answer any questions.
Lesson information: Children between the ages of 5-11 who are taking a lesson must purchase the Mountaineer program. Mountaineer lessons begin at 6:15 pm, for students renting equipment from Montage please arrive at least 45 minutes before the lessons to get your rental equipment, the lines can get pretty long at rental counter. *Don’t forget the Ski Shack is giving WBA Ski Club members a 10% discount each time you rent!
Important Information for Parent to know. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from Montage Mountain. Parents are responsible for their children while at Montage Mountain. WBA and the ski advisors are NOT responsible for the students in the event of an accident or other mishap. Parents are expected to be on the premises of Montage Mountain while their child is skiing, snowboarding or tubing.
